* We Have HD *

Last night, I watched one of the most interesting documentaries on NatGeo HD; Ancient X-Files: Land Of The Sodomites. Who were the Sodomites? They were the people of Prophet Luth (or, as the Christians call him, "Lot").

This guy claims that he has found the lost city somewhere in Jordan. He based his searches on texts from the bible. I think it was a very interesting show.

The most interesting part of it was, when he showed a piece of burned pottery from the site and compared it to another piece of pottery from an atomic bomb site, and they were similar.

But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand. And the (cities were) right on the high-road. (Surat al-Hijr: 73-76)

To think about it, there is actually such a thing as "hell on earth"; remember Hiroshima & Nagasaki? Yes, those were literally "hell on earth".
