* Labels *

Today, I heard a new word; "islamiyyin", literally translated as "islamists".
What is that word supposed to mean?
I realize that we let ourselves be labelled by people who do not know any better. What is even worse, we believe in these labels and start labelling each other.
Aren't we all supposed to be "islamists"? Aren't we supposed "to attempt to implement Islamic values in all spheres of life"? We need to realize that we are all believers; who have different ways to show our love for our religion.
These people who keep telling us what we are supposed to do (and what we are not supposed to) with regards to our religion, who are they to tell us that? Yet, we listen to them and quote from them and read their articles. We learn from them and let them educate us about their ways that they deem to be the best ways to live this life.
Don't be stupid. Don't let stupid people make you stupid, or, worse, stupider than them.
Think. Educate yourself. Reason, evaluate, ponder, reflect until you find the truth. And when you finally find the truth, be wise and accept it.
"Islamists". Bah. Just another word created to separate us and poison our minds with prejudice against each other.
The only question now left to be answered is, "What have you done today to show your love for your religion?"
