As everyone has suspected (and expected), the Israeli armies have pulled out of Gaza on the eve of the inauguration of Barrack Obama as the new President of America. They leave Gaza in ruins, with people having nowhere to go and the humanitarian situation in the worst of conditions. The grounds are contaminated with sewage and there is no clean water supply; a situation ripe for an epidemic (semangat community tak habis lagi).
So, they left. So, they claimed victory. So, the people stays...and what is next for them? What happens now?

Aside from delivering life-saving supplies of food, water and medicines to protect children's physical health, UNICEF is concerned about the mental well-being of children in Gaza and the high level of stress they have been under during three weeks of violence. Another top priority, therefore, will be getting their daily lives back to normal.

The Gaza Community Mental Health Program (GCMHP) has been tasked with treating the children in Gaza in line with a project launched in April 1990 by Dr. Eyad El Sarraj, the only psychiatrist who worked in the Gaza Strip at the time.

The Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, said his government wanted to get forces out of Gaza "at the greatest possible speed". Israeli officials told the Associated Press the plan was to leave before Barack Obama's inauguration as US president tomorrow.
