Today, the honourable Dr. Ali Tawfiq, who is the head of ENT Department, visited us during our round session. Haha...we had been waiting for him since 9am, of course.
I think his favourite number is 40, or, he is turning 40 this year. Because, he told us that the end of round exams will have 40 MCQs with 40 marks and he gave us 40 minutes to answer all of them. Well, I thought, that is really something.
Of course, the most hilarious part was when someone just had to ask, "Doctor~ can we circle the correct answer (instead of ticking it)?" and Dr. Ali said, "Yes, you can. You can tick it, or circle it, or put in a box, or 'ex' it, quadrangle, rectangle, triangle..." He stressed that as long as the marking is 'limited', it's okay. LOL~ that was just too funny! I pity those who missed it ;) So, folks, better start sharpening your pencils! Haha...
40 questions in 40 minutes is not that bad, considering that we once had to answer 25 questions in about 15 minutes or so in the past. Back when the questions were identical to the ones in the book, the doctors did not want to waste our time answering them in the halls. After all, you don't really have to study to answer them.
So, the exam will be held on 1pm, Thursday (27th November). 4 more days to go. All the best, people!
