I just finished two essay papers for Pharmacology. The first one was okay, but the second paper was a disaster. Thank God we discussed the 'anti-pseudomonal' drugs just before entering the exams. Many of us exited the hall looking depressed and frustrated. As for me, I exited the hall trying to keep my faith...and wanting a new mug.

Datuk Shahrir Ahmad said, "Our allowances are not much and if the people are suggesting this out of frustration, then it is unfair." Duh~ how can he say this? When the prices go up, he can still ride his Merc and eat in lavish restaurants. While the people have to 'ubah gaya hidup' and take the bus to work and cannot even afford to eat in mamak stalls. Maybe he forgot that those allowances come from the people's pockets. Maybe he forgot that he is a servant of the people, not the opposite. It is too frustrating to think that we have such inconsiderate minister. Hmph~
Today, Pak Lah said that the ministers' allowances will be cut. Ha! "Ketika ini, elaun keraian bulanan bagi Perdana Menteri ialah RM18,865, Timbalan Perdana Menteri (RM15,015), menteri (RM12,320) dan timbalan menteri (RM6,000)." Yes, people! And that is only ONE type of allowance. Amazing enough, these people still claim that they will share the burden with the mass. But, the 'burden' upon them may not even close to the weight of the 'burden' that the people have to carry. All in all, I do not sure what we can actually do. Oh yeah, shockingly, it is not certain yet that the prices will stay until March.
